Brilliant pigment ink

All posters are printed with Canon LUCIA TD pigment ink. Unlike conventional dye ink, the colour pigments sit as solid particles on the paper - making prints water-resistant, lightfast and exceptionally vibrant.

Questions about poster printing

It depends on the purpose. For photos and art, we recommend glossy photo paper - the colours are most vibrant. For conference posters, trade shows or office spaces, 180gsm matte photo paper is the best choice because the matte surface doesn't reflect. For drafts or short-term displays, 80gsm standard paper is sufficient.
We print posters in A2 (420 x 594 mm), A1 (594 x 841 mm), A0 (841 x 1189 mm) and custom sizes up to 914 mm width. The format is automatically detected from your PDF.
For posters, 150 DPI at target size is sufficient in most cases, as posters are typically viewed from a distance. For maximum sharpness, we recommend 300 DPI. Images below 100 DPI will appear noticeably pixelated at large formats. We print at up to 2400 DPI.
Posters are shipped rolled in a sturdy shipping tube to ensure they arrive undamaged. This prevents any creases or folds.
